These terms apply to your use of From Code to Lead (fromcodetolead.com), operated by Iyan Barry (sole trader), Australia.

Founding membership

Membership is currently free. We do not collect payment details. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you in advance and you will not be charged unless you choose to purchase.

General guidance only

Content is general educational material about leading technical teams. It is not legal, HR, medical or professional advice for your circumstances. Follow your employer’s policies and seek appropriate advice for performance, conduct, employment or wellbeing matters. Scenarios are fictional composites.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate details. Keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access other people’s accounts, scrape the content, or submit unlawful or abusive material.

Content

We own the scenarios, scripts and site design. You may use them for your own professional development and adapt scripts for your own conversations, but you may not republish or sell them. Your notes remain yours.

Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical. You may delete your account at any time.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, the free service is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for decisions you make based on its content.
